Duration & Cum Laude

The study guide website states that one of the requirements for a cum laude classification is that a student graduates within 1.5 times the duration of their regular program (meaning 3 years).

Will study delays be accounted for? Many 2nd year students who are not doing an internship currently would have to wait at least a few months before they start in January.

We understand your concerns. Within the EER (OER) it is specified that exceptions for this rule can be made under special circumanstances (study delay caused by the COVID-19 situation could fall under this). This would be evaluated by the Board of Examiners for each student individually. Of course all the other criteria would still have to apply.
